Follow a Low GI diet- protein with every meal. Exercise for at least half an hour following each treatment (preferably within 6 hours of the treatment) to stimulate lymphatic activity and follow a suitable daily exercise plan. Skin brush daily before showering in between treatments. No alcohol or acetaminophen for at least 72 hours after treatment.”

Q?What do I expect with the Ultrasound Treatments?
A.

The ultrasound fat reduction treatment does not require any specific pre-treatment.  The treatment begins with circumference measurement of the target body area, before pictures, and then continues with circular movements of the ultrasound head applicator over the treatment site, and finally finishing with the after pictures.

Q?How long does it take?
A.

The RF session usually takes around 20 minutes, and the Ultrasound session is usually around 12-20 minutes, depending on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer. 6-12 sessions spaced 1-2 weeks apart are ideal and are recommended in order to achieve the best result – further subsequent treatments may be needed to attain your desired body shape.

Q?What do I feel during and after the treatments?
A.

Generally clients consider the procedure painless however there may be slight discomfort mainly due to the specific noise spreading inside your body. This does no harm to the body and disappears as soon as you are not in contact with the Ultrasound head applicator. Most clients experience warmth during the RF treatment. If it turns too hot, immediately request some extra ultrasound gel to be applied.

**Occasionally there is a possibility of mild side effects such as transient redness or excessive thirst immediately after the treatment which can be resolved by drinking filtered water. They are all short-term effects that disappear in few hours to a few days.

Q?How safe is the Ultrasound?
A.

Studies have shown the treatment is safe however the Ultrasound procedure is not be used on patients with an acute illness, compromised liver function, epilepsy, severe bleeding tendencies, pace makers, or during pregnancy. On your first visit, you will fill out a questionnaire that will determine if you are eligible for the treatment.

Q?The use of Radio Frequency, Is it Safe?
A.

Radio frequency (RF) treatment refers to the controlled application of RF energy, a form of electromagnetic energy, to the surface of the skin. RF energy has been used safely for many years in surgery but only recently in dermatology and cosmetic procedures. The application of RF energy causes bulk heating of the lower layers of the skin without causing any damage to the upper layer, or external surface of the skin.

Q?How Does RF/Radio Frequency Work?
A.

Clinical research has shown that bulk heating of the connective tissue in the lower layers of the skin causes the skin to tighten. Non-surgical skin tightening is achieved by the effect of heat on the collagen fibers which causes them to lose their long fiber structure and shrink into a more compact form. This causes an increased tension within the skin which achieves the effect of tightening.

Q?How does Radio Frequency Assist in Cellulite Reduction?
A.

Radio Frequency is successful in cellulite and fat reduction as it improves blood flow to the treated area which therefore promotes the breakdown of fat cells, aiding in the re-absorption and drainage of fatty deposits and retained fluids.

Q?Can this be used on Men and Women?
A.

Yes, this is for both Men and Women, we see amazing results with both.

Q?What Areas Can Be Treated?
A.

Areas that are mainly treated are: Abdomen, Thighs (Inner and Outer), Buttocks, Upper arms, Lower Back/Love Handles.

Q?When will I see results?
A.

Most clients will see results immediately after their first treatment, and the best results will be after 3 days of having the treatment, but we do highly recommend having at least 6 treatments to maximize results and get the longevity out of the procedure.

Q?Do I Need To Take Time Off Work?
A.

No absolutely not, the ultrasound is non-invasive and completely safe; the RF will only cause a little heating under the skin, it will cause a slight pink tone from the heat but that will quickly subside after the treatment.
